TERMS AND CONDITIONS
GENERAL NOTES
ANTHRO AFRICA TOURS accepts payment by credit card, bank draft or cash. All costs and prices indicated are for land services and do not include international airfare. Land costs are based on double occupancy and are priced per person. Single suppliments apply to anyone wishing to have their own room but a single room cannot be guaranteed.

All prices are subject to change at any time due to currency fluctuations, or other circumstances beyond Anthro Africa TOUR'S control. Most safaris operate with a minimum of two participants. When a safari requires four or more to guarantee departure, we have attempted to indicate this. Please check with us for minimums and availability.

RESERVATIONS
Reservations can be made by contacting ANTHRO AFRICA TOURS, hereafter called AAT, reservation office located at Coffee plaza, Haille Sellasie Avenue, 3rd Floor, P. O. Box 70408 Nairobi, E-mail: info@anthroafricatours.net Website: www.anthroafricatours.net

Safaris are booked and confirmed only on receipt of a 35% deposit of the basic program rate and the acknowledgement of the same. When AAT receives the deposit a booking packet and invoice will be mailed to you.

Balance of payment is due no later than sixty days prior to the commencement of your trip. If the balance has not been received by that date AAT shall be entitled at its discretion to treat your reservation as cancelled and consequently you shall forfeit such part of the deposit as determined (below see cancellation and refunds regarding 31-60 days cancellation charges).

LATE BOOKING CHARGE
Any reservation made within 60 days of commencement of a safari may be accepted provided space is available, payment in full has been received and provided documents can be delivered prior to departure. There is a rush charge of $100 per booking under these circumstances.

AAT will provide travel documents three weeks prior to scheduled departure on bookings made not later than sixty days prior to scheduled departure. For late bookings, however, documents shall be provided within a reasonable time frame.

CANCELLATIONS REFUNDS
Any cancellation of a booking must be in writing and shall be & only effective upon its acknowledged receipt by AAT. Refunds will be given minus cancellation charges as follows:-

  • Minimum fee of $150 per person Prior to 65 days before departure 35% 31-65 days prior to departure 50% 1-30 days prior to departure 100%
Different cancellation policies apply at different camps or safaris and may be less or more. On group or custom safaris there may be stricter cancellation policies - please inquire.

No refunds are given for lost travel time or substitution of facilities, for itineraries amended after departure or for circumstances arising beyond AAT control. If you do not appear for any accommodation, service, sightseeing, or trip segment; or if you leave your program after it has begun, miss scheduled sightseeing activities, meals, or accommodations there will be no refund.

AAT reserves the right to cancel any departure, itinerary, or any part of it, to make such alterations in the itinerary as it deems necessary, to refuse to accept or retain as a member of any program any person at any time, and to pass on to program members any expenditure occasioned by delays or events beyond its control. AAT reserves the right to substitute hotels and services for those mentioned in detailed itineraries when necessary.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In case of any disagreements, the Kenyan laws are applicable, and the Kenyan courts shall resolve the dispute.

GENERAL INFORMATION

All bookings are accepted by AAT as an independent ground tour operator and also as an agent for hotels, airlines, car hire and bus companies, grounds transportation, boat purveyors or owners, and other independent contractors providing accommodations, transportation and/or other services. These services provided by the independent companies are offered subject to the terms and conditions contained in the tickets, exchange orders and/or vouchers issued by them and/or their suppliers. Because AAT does not have the right to control the operations of the independent operators and their suppliers, it will not be held liable for any personal injury or property damage which may arise out of these services. In case of any appreciable variation in its cost, AAT reserves the right to adjust its rates.

INSURANCE
AAT strongly recommends that you obtain the following types of insurance which are commercially available: Accidental death and disability; Life insurance; Emergency medical evacuation; Trip cancellation, Major medical, Loss of personal effects.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS & VACCINATIONS
It is your responsibility to ensure that passports, visas, travel permits, health certificates, inoculations, international driving license, or other documentation required for the trip are obtained and are in order. It is your responsibility to meet any additional costs incurred either by yourself (or by AAT on your behalf) as a result of any failure by you to comply with such requirements.

All information given in this information bulletin is to the best of AAT'S knowledge, correct at the time of publication, but it reserves the right to change the same.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions govern the relationship between AAT and your goodself to the total exclusion of any other terms and conditions. No alteration to the terms and conditions may be made by any of AAT's employees, authorized representatives or agents, unless in writing by an authorized officer of AAT. All decisions and matters subject to AAT's discretion shall be made by an authorized officer of AAT. Payment and reservations means that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions above.
